With over a decade of experience in the political and policy field, Nick has a track record of delivering major policy and political victories for his clients. After starting his political career in the Schwarzenegger administration, Nick cut his teeth running campaigns in support of large development projects. In this private sector role, Nick led public-facing efforts to entitle tens of millions of square feet of new retail and hundreds of new housing units on projects throughout California.

Nick went on to work as a senior staffer in the California State Assembly, helping to lead the Assembly Republican Communications Shop and creating a new digital communications and outreach department within the Assembly Republican Caucus. He then became Chief of Staff, where he served as Assemblyman Jordan Cunningham’s chief political & policy strategist and spokesman. Among other things, he led the office’s efforts to successfully extend the life of Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, set California’s first offshore wind energy targets, and better protect children online.

In addition to his role in the State Assembly, Nick ran a successful political consulting firm, helping political candidates, political parties, and PACs win elections. He was instrumental in founding the California Problems Solvers Caucus - a bipartisan coalition of legislators committed to putting the public good over partisan ideology.

Nick, his wife, and their two children live in Sacramento, where they spend their free time exploring the Sierra.
